Privacy & data
What information the Beautysaloon service stores, why, and who can see it.
Workspace and booking information
Beautysaloon stores salon details, services, staff schedules, account email addresses and booking records. Guest bookings include the client’s name, contact details, chosen treatment and time, and any notes they submit. Salon owners can access their salon’s records; staff access is restricted to their assigned appointments.
Accounts and device storage
Passwords are stored as hashes. Sign-in uses a session cookie. Verification and password reset links expire and are single use. If you install the app, public booking pages and static files may be saved on your device for offline use. Private workspace pages and appointment API responses are not saved in the app’s offline cache.
Payments
Beautysaloon never holds client money. With cash or direct UPI, clients pay the salon directly; the booking stores the payment method, a booking reference and whether the salon marked it received. Salons that connect their own Razorpay account let clients pay through Razorpay’s checkout; card and bank details are entered with Razorpay, not Beautysaloon. The salon’s Razorpay API keys are stored encrypted, and bookings store the Razorpay order and payment IDs.
Hosting, emails and alerts
The service runs on Vercel with PostgreSQL hosted by Neon. Resend delivers account and booking emails using the email addresses supplied. Optional browser notifications require permission and store a device push subscription. Notification text omits client details. Signing out unsubscribes the current device.
Questions about your information
For changes to an appointment or client record, contact the salon using the details on its booking page. For workspace access or removal requests, email bookings@inspicker.com from your workspace email address. We may need to verify your identity before changing or removing records.
